Rashee Rice’s Mom Accused of Swiping Neighbor’s Package in Footage From Doorbell Camera

Rashee Rice's mother has been accused of swiping a package off a neighbor's front porch.

The neighbor's name was not publicly released as of Wednesday, Oct. 2. They claimed that a Ring camera installed on the front door of their Texas apartment captured the incident.

The footage, which TMZ published on Wednesday, allegedly showed a woman wearing a No. 4 jersey-Rice's number with the Chiefs-walking past a front door before taking a look behind her, attempting to stealthily move the package in question out of the Ring camera's sightline. A later clip showed her walking closer to the door in the opposite direction. Without making eye contact with the camera, she slowed down while walking by.

A sliding sound was audible in the moments before she turned and looked back in the camera's direction. The woman, whose jersey said "Momma-Rice" on the back, then bent down to pick something up off of the ground. When the woman lifted her hand, she appeared to be holding a cardboard box.

The neighbor reportedly believed that two Chappell Roan albums they had ordered were inside the package that they claim Marsha Kearney, the mom of the 24-year-old Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver, was filmed picking up. As of Wednesday evening, neither Rice nor his mother had publicly addressed the allegations. TMZ reported that a report on the incident was filed with local authorities earlier Wednesday.

The footage was captured on Sunday, Sept. 29, according to the media outlet. That same day, Rice was injured during his team's game against the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, Calif.

Kansas City went on to defeat the Chargers 17-10, cementing the Chiefs' fourth consecutive win of the official 2024 season. The defending Super Bowl champions are aspiring to become the first team in NFL history to win a third consecutive Super Bowl at the end of this season.
