Niles business to celebrate five-year anniversary in a big way - community invited
A Niles business is inviting the community to join in honoring five years of fitness, friendships and unforgettable memories.
ONYX GYMS, opened in late 2019, will celebrate its milestone day with activities, giveaways and entertainment as the health club says “cheers” to its members and supporters.
Non-members can receive a Free Gym Pass to explore what ONYX has to offer.
CEO and Founder Emil Gamidov said celebrating five years in business feels incredibly rewarding.
“It’s a testament to the hard work of our team, the loyalty of our members, and the strong relationships we’ve built with the community,” he said. “It’s a moment of pride and gratitude, knowing that ONYX GYMS has become a place where people feel inspired to improve their health and well-being.”
Gamidov went on to say that the mission of the business goes beyond fitness.
He said the company strives to create a space where people from all walks of life feel welcomed and supported in achieving their goals.
Whether it’s through partnerships with local schools and organizations, hosting charitable events, or offering innovative fitness solutions, he said ONYX GYMS is dedicated to uplifting the community and making fitness accessible and enjoyable for everyone.
And, Gamidov said it wouldn’t be possible without the community.
“Our community is at the heart of everything we do. Over the past five years, it’s been their support and enthusiasm that have fueled our growth and success,” he said. “Including the community in our celebration is a way to give back and say thank you for believing in us. We want to create an event that reflects our shared commitment to health, connection, and positivity.”
Gamidov said 2025 marks another year of progress toward the vision of becoming a national fitness brand.
“Every year, we’re making strides to expand and improve, bringing us closer to that goal,” he said. “We’re excited about what’s to come and are working tirelessly to ensure ONYX GYMS remains a leader in the fitness industry.”
Celebration activities happening Saturday, Jan. 4 include:
DAY EVENT: 12PM – 5PM
- Free Gym Pass: Try ONYX for yourself – on the house.
- Door Prizes: Stop in for a chance to win incredible prizes, including a bicycle, a TV and a grill.
- Local Vendors: Enjoy exclusive giveaways and samples from some of the best businesses in the area.
NIGHT EVENT: 7PM – 10PM
- DJ-Powered Party: Dance the night away with beats from a live DJ.
- Open Bar & Appetizers: Raise a glass and indulge in delicious bites.
- Fred Astaire Dancers: Be mesmerized by a dazzling performance from Fred Astaire Dance Studios.
