From longtime favorite shops to a newly-opened coffee shop drive through, here are the best places to fuel up on caffeine.
10. Juny Cafe
Juny Cafe opened in 2024 and the shop is named after the owners’ beloved dog, Juny.
Inside the cafe, there are tons of locally-crafted products for sale made by Mahoning Valley business owners, as well as books, games and monthly game and book club nights.
Recently, Juny Cafe started offering drive-through and online pick-ups for customers who want to stay in the car.
Juny Cafe is located at 5865 Mahoning Ave. in Austintown, and chess club meets at 5 p.m. for free every Wednesday.
9. Branch Street Coffee Roasters
Branch Street Coffee Roasters opened in 2015 as an independent coffee roaster with a cafe and roastery located in Youngstown.
Several local shops buy their coffee beans from Branch Street, including Juny Cafe, Oh Donut Co. and Nova Coffee Co.

Trek Coffee House opened just last year on the west side of Youngstown at 1588 Mahoning Ave., and they’ve already become a hit among Yelp reviewers.
This year, Trek co-hosted the Honey and Lavender Festival on Mahoning Avenue with other loca businesses, and hosted weekly events like yoga classes to engage the community.
