Dead body found inside a running vehicle on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown
Youngstown police discovered a dead woman inside her car with the engine still running on Wednesday.
Police were flagged down by civilians on Mahoning Avenue with reports that there was a woman passed out in her car. When the arrived on the scene, they found that she had no heartbeat and was cold to touch, according to a police report.
American Medical Response were called to the scene and declared the woman to be dead on arrival. The report stated that her family members had arrived to the scene, so more officers were called to secure the area.
The woman’s body was transported to the county coroner’s office and her car, a black Chevrolet Malibu, was towed by Schult’s Towing with a hold for safekeeping, according to the report.
No cause of death has been released to the public.
