A woman who was dumpster diving at the back of a Save-A-Lot on South Avenue got upset and threw a bag of corn starch at a security guard and a manager.

Youngstown police were called to the store on Saturday after employees reported a woman, identified as Summer Jackson, to be taking rotten meat from the dumpster, according to a police report.

A Save-A-Lot security guard and store manager approached her while she was dumpster diving and informed her that she was not permitted to be there. When they asked her to leave, Jackson grew upset and threw corn starch she found inside the dumpster at them, according to the report.

The report stated that the security guard detained Jackson and called Youngstown police soon after. Jackson was cited for criminal trespass and issued a summons at the Youngstown Municipal Court to answer to the charge. Her court date was set for Monday.
