Howland woman says four of her vehicles were broken into in her driveway

A woman who lives in the 300 block of Darlington Road S.E. in Howland Township told township police that four of her vehicles parked in the driveway of the home were broken into sometime before 7 a.m. on July 4.

A Michael Kors wallet valued at $180 was stolen from the center console of a 2011 Chevy Blazer. The wallet contained the woman’s driver’s license, two bank cards and $75 in cash.

Two blankets valued at $25 each were taken from a Silver Chevy Cruze, the report stated, while some cologne valued at $200 and $86 in cash were stolen from a black BMW.

A pair of Nike sunglasses valued at $100 were taken from a gray Chrysler 200. The report stated that one bank had sent the victim an alert advising her that her bank card was used at a Shell gas station at 2 a.m. to make purchases of $89 and $98.

The matter is being investigated by Howland detectives, the report stated.
