Youngstown police detectives are investigating a fatal shooting in the 300 block of East Judson Avenue on the city’s south side on the morning of July 11.
According to reports, a man was found shortly after 5 a.m. laying on the driveway of a residence. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
Detectives and the Crime Lab later arrived to process the scene and speak to witnesses. The incident remains under investigation. The identity of the man has not yet been released as the body was to be examined by the Mahoning County Coroner’s Office.
The detectives said in a report there are suspects, but no arrests have yet been made.
