Authorities were called to disperse fight at the Trumbull County Fair on Saturday involving more than 40 people in the midway.
According to reports, numerous Trumbull County sheriff deputies and other police officers working the Trumbull County Fair responded to a large fight on the fairgrounds at 10:14 p.m.
While officers were responding to the first call, a second large fight ensued near the slides on the southeast side of the fairgrounds.
There were several reports of individuals with firearms. One person with a gun had on a purple ski mask, the report stated. Within a ten-minute period, officers had to deal with individuals fleeing the scene and large crowds gathering to fight. At this time, deputies ordered all fairgoers to exit the fairgrounds through Gate A.
As the crowd attempted to push back, reports stated more police agencies were requested to respond.
Bazetta, Champion, Cortland, Howland, Lordstown and Niles police arrived to assist in dispersing the crowd into the parking lot to exit via vehicles.
The fairgrounds was cleared of people within about 35 minutes by about 10:50 p.m., the report stated. No arrests or injuries were reported.
