At Clothed in Strength, Heather Fronk‘s mission is to help single mothers enjoy financial freedom and celebrate themselves once in awhile.
Fronk shared her journey to make ends meet as a single mom at 19 years old and a Youngstown State University student. She transformed her experience into a mission to help other Mahoning Valley women in similar situations.
Clothed in Strength is a women’s boutique with a mission to empower and uplift single mothers.
The boutique opened a new location on Friday at 301 S. Main Street in Poland and Fronk’s team celebrated with a ribbon cutting at noon.
During their first official day of business, Fronk‘s team brought guests on tours through the new facility and offered specialty coffee, lemonades and mocktails from Sweet Sips and One Hot Cookie.
Clothed in Strength started in 2022 as a series of pop-up boutiques for women to get clothes, shoes, work apparel and coats for themselves and their children through community donations.
How to help Clothed in Strength
The community can help Fronk raise money for renovations of the store, buying more clothes and providing emergency financial grants to single mothers at the second annual Clothed In Strength Purse Bingo and Raffle.
The event is happening Nov. 8 at Mr. Anthony’s Banquet Center.
During the fundraiser, ‘it’s a girls night out;’ guests can have fun by playing 11 rounds of bingo and 11 rounds of purse raffle games, listen to live music and enjoy a pasta dinner plus dessert.
