A newly published guide provides nonpartisan information about candidates and issues that will appear on Mahoning County voters’ ballots in the Nov. 8 general election.

The League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown’s 2022 General Election Voter Information Guide is now available on the organization’s website. Printed copies can be picked up at all branches of the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County and at various restaurants, stores, churches and other gathering places throughout the county, a news release states. The guide is available in both English and Spanish.

Also, Mahoning County voters can now access information about races and issues on their ballots through Vote411, a “one stop shop” for voting information supported by the League of Women Voters Education Fund.

“The Voter Information Guide and Vote411 are two of the few sources of nonpartisan information on candidates and issues,” Leah Sakacs, LWVGY board president, said in the release. “As voters are inundated with political ads, the [League of Women Voters] is working to ensure a source of nonpartisan information to help inform voters’ choices.”
