Cat kept breaking into prison — so now she needs a new home. ‘Girl has seen things’

A tiny jailbird in the form of a cat now is doing time at an Ohio animal shelter after she kept breaking into a prison.

The cat, named Priscilla, has a very good reason for her thwarted efforts.

“She was brought to us by the county jail guards with quite the story,” the Ohio SPCA & Humane Society in Lima said in a Sept. 8 Facebook post.

“Priscilla believes herself to be a jailbreaker, and was able to sneak into the prison multiple times in search of food. They couldn’t allow her to continue breaking in, so she came to us,” the shelter said.

The domestic longhair cat appears to be barely out of kittenhood and plays well with other animals, the post said.

“New locations can be very stressful to her, so she will need a place ready in the home for her to decompress,” the post noted.

People in the comment section seemed to eat up Priscilla’s feisty ways.

“This girl has seen things! Look at her face!! I love her spicy expression,” someone said.

“I love her strong stance and expression. What a girl!” one person noted.

“Great mugshot!” another joked.

“The cutest cat burglar,” one person pointed out.

Lima is about a 90-mile drive northwest from Columbus.
