Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb shared a message after his long-awaited return to practice on Wednesday.

In Week 2 of the 2023 NFL season, Chubb suffered a torn MCL and ACL after a low hit to the knee from Pittsburgh Steelers safety Minkah Fitzpatrick.

He had to undergo two surgeries, and there were fears that it could be a career-ending injury since it was the same knee he hurt in 2015 while playing for the Georgia Bulldogs. Nevertheless, Chubb put in the hard work during rehab throughout the rest of the 2023 season and into the offseason to make a comeback.

On Wednesday, the Browns officially designated Chubb to return to practice after placing him on the physically unable to perform list (PUP) to start the 2024 season.

According to Cleveland's weekly injury report, he was limited in his first action back, but just being out there was a positive sign.

Chubb took to Instagram after practice to share a seven-word message with his followers.

"How much harder do i gotta go… ," he captioned it.

It's unclear what his caption means, but fans can safely assume Chubb is doing well after taking a significant step forward in his return.

Now, the Browns have 21 days to move Chubb back to the active roster. While it's unlikely we'll see him suit up for the Week 5 game against the Washington Commanders, there's hope we might see him in action in the following weeks against the Philadelphia Eagles, Cincinnati Bengals or Baltimore Ravens.

Since being drafted in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Chubb has established himself as one of the top running backs in the league.

Over his six-year NFL career, he's racked up 1,238 carries for 6,511 yards and 48 touchdowns. In the air, he's accumulated 123 receptions for 1,011 yards and four touchdowns to his name.
