Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese has put together another impressive campaign during the 2025 WNBA season.

After a rookie year in which she made the All-Star and All-Rookie teams by averaging 13.6 points and 13.1 rebounds, she has taken her game to another level in her second professional season.

She is contributing just 12.4 points and 12.6 rebounds per game, but her assist numbers have doubled from 1.9 to 3.8 per contest in 2025. Reese has already set countless franchise and WNBA records through the first 16 games of this season.

On Monday afternoon, the WNBA released its list of the 2025 All-Star starters.

WNBA fans were stunned to see that Reese, the league's leader in rebounds per game, was not an All-Star starter. Several took to the replies to voice how upset they were by this news.

"League about to piss me off where's Angel Reese?" a fan questioned.

"No Angel Reese is insane," another added. "I'm sure a coach will name her as a reserve, but the hate by 'fans' is out of control."

"Sheesh, no Angel Reese kinda crazy ngl," one fan said.

"The ONLY player in the WNBA averaging a double-double is NOT a Starter in the #2025WNBAAllStarGame," one fan pointed out.

"No Angel Reese is a (expletive) joke, another said.

"They can't be (expletive) right now," a fan responded. "No ANGEL REESE IS CRIMINAL You know what it's all right they gonna respect my girl no matter what ."

The 2025 WNBA All-Star game will take place on July 19 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, home of the Indiana Fever.

Chicago is back in action on Sunday against the 14-2 Minnesota Lynx. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. ET at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
